Balkan defeated Rilski

Balkan killed any chance Rilski Sportist had of reaching the third place in the standings in NBL. "The Greens" won at home 100-88 and eliminated their opponent from the battle for 3rd place.

The game was very close from start to finish. Both teams were exchanging baskets and leads and the winner became clear with 2 minutes to go. At that time Balkan used a 8-0 run to build a 91-81 lead and that won the game for the team.

Ivan Lilov was the top scorer for the winners with 24 points as Georgi Davidov had 22. For the visitors Bogdan Boev scored 22 points.
